1.    Bhangarh Fort in Alwar
This place is the most popular among the ASI approved haunted places in India. It is haunted to an extent that the Archaeological Society of India has put up warning signs off putting the tourists to be present in the fort after sunset.


2.    Charleville Mansion in Shimla
One of the most evacuated castle from the British – era which was rented in 1913 by the British Officer Victor Bayley and his wife, unaware of the fact that the house is occupied by the poltergeist. When the fact came into his knowledge, he decided to check the authenticity of the news, so he locked the room where most of the haunted activities were reported.


3.    Savoy Hotel in Mussoorie
This hotel was reportedly haunted by the ghost of Lady Garnet Orme; where she was murdered by adding strychnine in her medicine bottle. And after few years, the doctor that pushed the poison in her bottle was found dead in a similar way. Right after that it created a buzz that is evident in lot of Agatha Christie’s novel as well.


4.    Delhi Cantonment Area (Have you spotted the Ghost Lady?)
Delhi Cant is one of the neat and cleanest areas in Delhi. However, there are reports that as the day glides into the night, one can experience enough spookiness in the area. Often locals and passerby have claimed to have seen a woman in saree asking for lift and chasing the vehicle at inhuman speed.


5.    Supreme Court, Bombay
It is heard that whenever there is a murder trial is administered here, a vindictive bilingual ghost makes itself known by cursing and terrorizing anyone brave enough to enter.
